1. Overview of the Service

PhotoDrive allows event organizers to streamline the delivery of photos captured during events using facial recognition technology.

Key Features:

• Event Creation: Organizers can create and manage event portals.
• Photographer Upload: Event photographers can upload their final images to PhotoDrive.
• Guest Registration: Guests can register their faces at the event by scanning a QR code.
• AI-Powered Sorting: After the event ends, the admin triggers the “Arrange” feature to match photos with registered guests.
• Photo Delivery: Sorted images are delivered to each guest via email in a secure ZIP file.

2. Eligibility

To use PhotoDrive, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian if under 18.
• Accept and agree to the use of facial recognition and photo processing as described in these Terms.
• Comply with all local data protection and privacy regulations.

3. User Responsibilities

For Event Organizers:

• Ensure that guests are informed and give consent for facial recognition processing.
• Maintain the confidentiality of admin credentials and event settings.
• Use the platform ethically and in accordance with data privacy laws.

For Guests:

• By scanning the QR code and submitting a facial photo, you provide consent to process your image for the purpose of sorting and delivering event photos.
• Understand that AI-based recognition may not guarantee perfect results. Some images may be missed or incorrectly categorized.

4. Data Privacy & Security

• Your facial data is processed solely for the purpose of photo matching and delivery.
• PhotoDrive does not share or sell any facial data or email information to third parties.
• Facial data and uploaded photos are stored securely and will be automatically deleted within 30 days after the event concludes, unless otherwise specified by the event organizer.
• Email addresses are used exclusively to deliver event content.

5. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

PhotoDrive uses machine learning models for facial recognition. While we aim for high accuracy, we cannot guarantee:

• That all guest photos will be correctly sorted.
• That every guest will receive all photos they appear in.
• That there won’t be occasional mismatches or omissions.

We continue to improve our models to enhance accuracy over time.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to the PhotoDrive platform—including algorithms, models, designs, and branding—is owned by The Data Island. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or reverse engineering of any part of the system is strictly prohibited.

Photographs remain the property of the respective photographers or event organizers. PhotoDrive only facilitates delivery.

7. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Update, modify, or discontinue the service or its features at any time.
• Deny access to users who violate these Terms.
• Amend these Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Data Island and the PhotoDrive platform shall not be held liable for:

• Errors in photo classification due to model limitations.
• Loss of data or delivery failures.
• Any damages resulting from misuse of the service.

You use the platform at your own risk.

10. Governing Law
